The $30 million East Hampton jewel owned by Tiffany’s chief artistic officer, Reed Krakoff, has changed hands. Once the childhood home of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, the completely renovated seven-acre spread was dubbed “Lasata,” or place of peace.

Built in 1917, the home was pending sale in November, and Douglas Elliman confirms that the deal has closed. While the exact sale price has not been disclosed, the last asking price was $30 million. A 4-acre parcel of the original estate was sold to a different buyer for $11.25 million.

Krakoff and his wife, Delphine Krakoff, purchased the estate in 2007 for $25 million and embarked on a major renovation. The couple now apparently spend more time in their Connecticut digs.

Onassis, who was born in nearby Southampton Hospital, spent her summers at this home. As we reported last year, her grandparents Maude Sergeant Bouvier and John Vernou Bouvier Jr. bought the home, designed by Arthur Jackson, in 1925. At the time there were also stables and a riding ring.

While no horses grace the property now, the home does offer 10 beds, 11 baths, and 8,500 square feet of living space. It comes with a guesthouse and pool house.

The entry features a standout herringbone-patterned wood floor, a sunroom which looks out to the garden, and a master suite with a sitting area and fireplace.

Carol Nobbs and Eileen O’Neill of Douglas Elliman represented the listing. ”We’re thrilled to have found a buyer who appreciates the beauty and pedigree of this historically significant property,” they said in a statement.
