It’s all Austin, TX, all the time now for new University of Texas head football coach Tom Herman.

Herman, who spent two seasons as the head coach at the University of Houston, is moving 160 miles to the west. He’ll be leaving behind his mansion in Bellaire, TX, which he’s listed for $2 million.

The home is located just 11 miles from where Herman roamed the sidelines for the Cougars during two successful seasons—his first at the helm of a major FCS program.

The 5,660-square-foot mansion was custom-built in 2004. Property records indicate Herman bought the place in March 2015 for an undisclosed price—it was on the market for $1.7 million. Its upscale location, as part of the coveted Braeburn Country Club, makes it a savvy choice for a smart investor.

The home has 4.5 bathrooms and five bedrooms, including a first-floor master bedroom. The first floor also holds a family room and library along with a dining room that’s adjacent to a recently remodeled kitchen. The remaining bedrooms are upstairs.

Outside, the backyard pergola leads out to a pool, summer kitchen, and lush landscaping. There’s also a guesthouse with a kitchen and full bath.

The upcoming 2017 season will mark the first for the Longhorns under Herman after three losing campaigns with Charlie Strong. Texas hasn’t had a winning season since 2013—the last under legendary head coach Mack Brown.
