6 Gorgeous Picks From Joanna Gaines’ New Anthropologie Line

6 Gorgeous Picks From Joanna Gaines’ New Anthropologie Line

Anthropologie

After decluttering and “Marie Kondo-ing” every last inch of our homes this winter, we’re dreaming of total home decor refresh. For a dose of inspiration, look no further than Joanna Gaines‘ new, exclusive collection for Anthropologie.

The “Fixer Upper” star’s latest offering is full of “globally inspired” rugs and pillows. Equal parts modern farmhouse and boho chic, this fab collab pulls together the best of Gaines’ aesthetic and the classic touches we’ve come to love from Anthropologie—think tassels, geometric embroidery, and Moroccan motifs.

Both homeowners and interior designers are flocking to scoop up as many pieces as they can from this well-edited, 40-item collection. To help you sift through the line, we’ve asked the pros to take a look and pick out their must-haves.

1. Sadie throw pillows

These perfect pillows come in four subtle shades and offer delicate stitching.

Think embroidery is old-fashioned? Guess again. Modern flourishes and sweet tassels take these classic throw pillows ($48–$68, Anthropologie) from basic to brilliant. The Sadie color scheme is truly fun, with designs in white, ochre, blush, and sky.

Jamie Novak, an organizing guru and author of “Keep This Toss That,” adores this set for its colors and texture.

“These pillows are an easy way to upgrade your style and can be swapped out seasonally so you can update your look without changing the whole room,” she says.

2. Eva rug

This classic rug combines a simple weave with an Indian-inspired border.

Anthropologie

“Hello, handsome!” says Justin Riordan of Spade and Archer Design Agency. He loves a quality neutral rug, for both everyday living and staging to sell a home. The textured Eva rug ($68–$1,198, Anthropologie) features a classic, nubbly feel with a border framed by pretty fringe.

Textured rugs like these are luxurious—and the natural cotton and wool fibers are dust mite–resistant, which may help reduce allergy symptoms, says Darla DeMorrow, author of “Organizing Your Home With SORT and SUCCEED.”

With shapes ranging from a room runner to a small area rug or full-room size, this pick has an option for every home.

3. Ruby rug

This handwoven, Turkish-inspired rug comes in two fun hues.

Anthro

Bye-bye, stuffy Oriental rugs! We’re crushing on the Ruby rug ($289–$1,998, Anthropologie), a more modern take on the classic style.

“Pink blush is such a hot color right now—this would look amazing in many areas, including a little girl’s bedroom, home office, or even your main living space,” says Liz Toombs, president of PDR Interiors.

Toombs loves the femininity that this color brings to a traditional pattern. This pick also comes in a sweet blue shade, as well as five different sizes.

4. Camille pillow

This soft, plush pillow is equally at home on beds and the couch.

Anthropologie

Creamy and lush, the Moroccan design and textured, shaggy look of the Camille pillow ($118–$138, Anthropologie) makes it a fan favorite.

“I’m partial to soft pillows for decor and napping—and these look comfy enough to snuggle up to, especially with your favorite furry friend,” says DeMorrow.

Drew Henry of Design Dudes agrees: “These definitely add that hygge element to a room and would finish off the perfect reading nook.”

5. Watercolor roses wallpaper

Distinctly feminine yet very refined, this wallpaper could dress up a half-bath or the living room.

Anthropologie

Choosing a wallpaper can be tough in part because it may appear dated over time. But trends come back around, and there’s something charming about the watercolor roses wallpaper ($98, Anthropologie).

“I totally dig the homage to Grandma with the roses and would pair this wallpaper with confident, contrasting furniture for a bold look,” says Riordan.

“Because these wallpaper colors are so subtle, they’ll be easy to use, and I can see them appealing to many homeowners,” adds Karen Gray-Plaisted of Design Solutions KGP.

6. Reed diffuser

Choose from three lovely scents in this simple glass vessel.

Anthropologie

Quick—how many interior design photos on Pinterest do you see without a beautiful scented candle or diffuser on an end table? That’s right, almost none. This reed diffuser ($32, Anthropologie) comes in three scents—Bloom, Dwell, and Gather—that each have a good mix of floral and spicy notes.

Toombs loves how these fragrances can create an ambiance in the home.
