“Captain Marvel” star Brie Larson has sold her marvelous midcentury modern home for $2.17 million, according to multiple news reports. The final sale price is slightly lower than the $2.25 million she paid for it three years ago.

Alas, the superhero actress with the blockbuster movie couldn’t call up her powers for a profitable sale price. The 29-year-old had listed the Los Angeles home in March for $2.45 million, ultimately dropping it to $2.35 million before it finally sold.

Built in 1952, the 3,000-square-foot house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

With floor-to-ceiling glass windows, sliders, and skylights, natural light brightens the chic space. The living the room with a double-height ceiling with loft opens to a family room, which has built-ins and a fireplaces. The eat-in kitchen is equipped with stainless-steel appliances, bar seating, and black counters. Adjoining the kitchen is the dining area, which looks out to the patio.

The open layout features beamed ceilings and opens onto a central courtyard, allowing for indoor-outdoor living, entertaining, and dining.

The master suite takes over the back of the house, and comes with a walk-in closet, updated bath, and access to a secluded outdoor spa. The detached two-car garage allows for privacy and convenience.

The actress reportedly has held on to a second place in L.A., a property in Studio City she bought for almost $900,000 a decade ago, Variety reports.

Larson, who hails from Sacramento, won an Academy Award for her starring role in the indie drama “Room.” And she’s now part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with her starring role in “Captain Marvel” and her appearance in “Avengers: Endgame.”
