Hapless Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson was fired by the team a couple of weeks ago. His record of three wins, 36 losses, and one tie with the Browns suggests he’s used to being on the losing side.

Which brings us to his five-bedroom home in Symmes Township, OH, which is on the market for $580,000.

Jackson’s misfortune has extended into the realm of real estate. He purchased this place in 2004 for $640,000 while working as wide receivers coach for the Cincinnati Bengals. It was initially listed a year ago for $655,000 and had multiple price reductions in the past 10 months.

If the home sells at its current price, Jackson will take a loss. However, the buyer would snag quite a deal.

The “pristine” two-story home has an open floor plan, which includes a family room with a box-beamed ceiling, wall of windows, and custom bookshelves. The eat-in chef’s kitchen features granite counters, a large island, and hearth room. The area opens out to a large patio with a fire pit. Hardwood flooring and wainscoting run throughout the main level of the 6,000-square-foot home.

The dining room is graced with wainscoting and a tray ceiling. A first-floor office and guest suite provide convenience for friends and family.

The luxury master suite includes a sitting area, walk-in closet, and double-vanity bathroom. The finished lower level includes a workout room, full bath, and wet bar.

Outside, there’s a grassy lawn, large patio, and grill area. The home is located on a private cul-de-sac and comes with a three-car garage.

Jackson, 53, previously served as an assistant for a wide variety of college and NFL squads for over two decades. He spent one season as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders and led the team to an 8-8 finish in 2011, which lifts his career win-loss record as an NFL head coach to 11-44-1.
