Former St. Louis Blues star Brett Hull is still trying to skate away from his mansion in Clayton, MO. The Hockey Hall of Famer recently reduced the price of the historic house to $2,795,000.

Hull purchased the Brentwood Park abode in 2014. After embarking on a $2 million renovation, he placed the 10,472-square-foot spread on the market in 2016 for $3,775,000. It was cut to $3.5 million in 2017, and then $3.2 million in 2018. In May, the price was cut to the current ask.

“Major price reduction creates the very best value in a luxury Brentmoor Park manse,” the listing notes.

The “current owners purchased the residence in 2014 and undertook massive renovations, bringing a vision with every modern convenience and luxury appointment, and a functional age of only five years old,” listing agent Wayne Norwood says of the mansion that was originally built in 1912.

The home comes with 1.7 acres. There are four bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Along with new plumbing, wiring, heating, and cooling, the space includes multiple entertaining rooms, a formal dining room, and a redone chef’s kitchen featuring bar seating and a dining nook.

“The estate has been transformed into an all-new residence,” Norwood says.

The “magnificent” master suite includes a new luxe bath and dual closets. Amenities also include a wine room with stained-glass windows and doors. Outdoors, the grounds feature patios, terraces, and lush landscaping.

The Canadian-born Hall of Famer, 54, had a long professional hockey career. In addition to the St. Louis Blues, he played for the Calgary Flames, Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings, and Phoenix Coyotes from 1986 to 2005. Hull currently serves as an executive vice president of the St. Louis Blues.
