Now a Knick, Julius Randle Is Leaving His .1M Louisiana Mansion Behind
After a high-scoring season with the New Orleans Pelicans, Julius Randle is flying away from the team. He’s selling his high-end Louisiana mansion for $3.1 million.
Not afraid of the bright lights of NYC, Randle has just signed a three-year, $63 million deal with the New York Knicks. His new deal means that he’ll leave Louisiana after a single season with the Pelicans and move on from his luxe digs in Kenner, LA.
The property was last on the market in 2018 for a little under $3 million, before Randle snapped it up. He joined the Pelicans last July, on a two-year, $18 million contract that allowed him to opt out after a single season. He opted out—and cashed in.
Built in 2017, the French Provincial style manse he’s selling in the suburbs just east of NOLA is a slam dunk. It’s also the most expensive place currently on the market in Kenner.
With five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, the 7,721-square-foot luxury modern abode features views of Lake Pontchartrain. The community is gated and the home sits in a cul-de-sac.
On nearly half an acre, the property offers a resort-style pool, spa, and backyard. Inside, you’ll find a gourmet kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows, and an open floor plan with a kitchen and family room. Entertainment options include a theater and bar.
In addition, the layout features oversized bedrooms and closets, a sauna, heated bathroom floors, and a luxurious master suite.
Randle, 24, was drafted in the first round by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2014 and played in L.A. for his first four seasons. Coming off a season in which he averaged over 20 points a game with the Pelicans, the Knicks moved quickly to secure his services for the next three seasons.
