Productivity maven Timothy Ferriss is done waiting for a buyer to come along—he’s put his Florida home up for auction with no reserve. Ferriss, the best-selling author of “The 4-Hour Workweek,” is a popular podcaster, entrepreneur, and tech investor.

The auction is scheduled for Feb. 9. Located on Marco Island on the Gulf of Mexico, the 3-acre waterfront property comes with a dock and 190 feet of water frontage. The 13,000-square-foot home on it features rococo decor and is being offered fully furnished. It comes with a pool and tennis court, and a bar with a koi pond.

Renovations include a remodeled kitchen, luxurious master bath, and a new dock. Perched 24 feet above sea level, the home is in a protected cove and offers views of Robert’s Bay.

Other features of the gated six-bedroom, 7.5-bath home include a copper roof, circular driveway, three-car garage, chef’s kitchen, separate staff apartment, library, office with a fireplace, living room with vaulted, hand-painted ceiling, and formal dining room. Luxe details include antique crystal chandeliers, three fireplaces, and travertine flooring.

The master suite boasts a balcony with views of the bay, Venetian plaster ceiling, two separate baths, and a morning room. The home also includes a second master suite with water views.

Outdoors, along with landscaped gardens, white sand beaches are just minutes away.

The home has been on and off the market since 2011, when it was initially listed for $12.9 million. Over the years, the price dropped and is currently at $7.2 million. But the upcoming auction with no reserve price will likely result in an even bigger bargain.

The auction will be conducted by James Gall Jr. and Elite Auctions in cooperation with listing agent Maria Coords of Premiere Plus Realty.

Ferriss was an early investor and adviser to companies such as Facebook, Twitter, and Uber. He reportedly lived in Silicon Valley until 2017, when he relocated to the tech hub of Austin, TX.
