Birdman Serious About Flying the Coop—Cuts Price of Miami Mansion Again

Rap mogul Bryan “Birdman” Williams hasn’t been able to find a buyer for his swanky manse in Miami Beach, FL. To entice someone (anyone!) into making an offer, the price on Birdman’s enormous tricked-out mansion was recently slashed to $13.5 million.

The new price represents a 33% reduction—the 20,000-square-foot home first landed on the market in 2017 for $20 million. Williams purchased the home from Rockstar Energy Drink founder Russell Weiner for $14.25 million in 2011, and then customized it with high-end details, including acres of marble, chrome, custom lighting, and textured, animal-print wallpaper.

The mansion’s sale has stirred up all sorts of drama. Late last year, it was reported the property was entering foreclosure and that eviction and confiscation of property were imminent. But Alan Soven, Williams’ attorney, set the record straight.

“Ninety percent of what you’ve been hearing is just wrong,” he told us in December 2018.

According to Soven (and legal documents he provided), the lender had made an illegal loan and was in no position to foreclose on the property. Any discussion of eviction and confiscation of possessions was a complete misunderstanding, he said.

Williams is still the owner of the seven-bedroom, 13-bathroom mansion. He moved into a plush Miami penthouse a couple of years ago.

Among the luxe features ready to impress big ballers are two wine cellars, two pools, a home theater that seats 13, a six-car garage, a 40-foot-tall entry foyer, a striking onyx entertainers’ bar, and a golden toilet.

There’s also a 3,500-square-foot master bedroom featuring two private balconies with ocean views, his-and-hers] bathrooms, and a lounging area with fireplace.

The mansion is located in the Estates section of Palm Island and features 100 feet of canal frontage as well as a dock that can accommodate a 100-foot yacht.

Williams, the co-founder of Cash Money Records, has had an on-again, off-again engagement to Toni Braxton for the past couple of years. He’s known for producing and recording with Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne, among many other hip-hop luminaries.
