Reality TV star Jeana Keough isn’t kibitzing with the ladies on “Real Housewives of Orange County” nowadays, but she’s still a player in Orange County real estate.

As the listing agent, she’s selling her own home in Coto de Caza, CA, for $2.95 million. She’s toying with the idea of moving closer to the beaches—on both the East and West coasts.

Keough left the Bravo franchise after Season 6, and sold her former, gigantic Coto home in 2016. She bought the home she’s now selling almost by accident a couple of years ago. One of her clients was looking to purchase a $5 million home, but said they had to sell their current home first. Keough loved the place they were selling, saw that it had major potential, and said, “I’ll buy it!”

“It’s unique and different,” she says, in contrast to many homes in the area. “I don’t like to live in cookie-cutter houses.”

She spent an entire year remodeling it and adding her own touches. She spent $150,000 on the kitchen, which now features a Wolf range, Sub-Zero refrigerator drawers and paneled refrigerator, a farmhouse sink, and cabinetry with self-glide drawers and custom pulls. There’s also a large island with plenty of storage as well as custom lighting throughout.

There’s even a breakfast nook, prep kitchen, and walk-in pantry behind the kitchen.

“Everything’s hidden,” Keough says, noting that all the drawers are sectioned with dividers for ultimate organization.

“It’s really cool,” she says, noting it’s arguably her favorite room in the house, although the new outdoor deck gives the kitchen stiff competition.

She spent an additional $50,000 redoing the patio, adding heaters, limestone, fire features, TVs, and a table for 12.

The backyard “now holds up to 200 people for weddings or parties,” she says. “We’re spending all our time there now that the weather is so nice.”

The 1.2-acre lot also includes redwood trees, sycamores, evergreens, and apple, lemon, and lime trees. There are also beautifully landscaped walking trails and stairs for exploring the property and getting a better look at Saddleback Mountain.

Back inside, there are other standout luxury features worth highlighting: stone floors, an arched entryway, custom wrought-iron railings, crystal chandeliers, and skylights throughout. The 12-foot ceilings make the open floor plan and great room seem even more spacious.

The 5,306-square-foot house has five bedrooms and six baths, and comes with a luxurious guesthouse out back. It has a marble spa bath, bedroom, living room, and kitchen.

So why is Keough willing to leave this little slice of paradise after she’s invested so much into it?

“I’m thinking about getting a place at the beach,” she says, noting that while Coto de Caza may be located in the famed O.C., it’s about 20 minutes away from the sand and surf.

“I’m also thinking about becoming bicoastal,” she says, explaining that her daughter, Kara, is married to former NFL linebacker Kyle Bosworth and they live in Florida. The couple recently had a baby, and Keough says she would love to spend at least a week per month with the family.

“I’m thinking about getting two smaller places right on the beach, rather than one big one in Coto de Caza,” she says, although she specifies that she does appreciate the gentle, warm nights in her current home, which contrasts with the cooler weather by the beach.
