Ready to live long and prosper in a New York City? “Star Trek” star and social media influencer George Takei is selling his apartment for $1.35 million.

Located on the 35th floor of the 78-story Metropolitan Tower in midtown’s Billionaires’ Row, the unit looks southwest at the city skyline and offers a peek of the Hudson River.

Takei and his husband, Brad, bought the unit in late 2001 for $475,000 through a company known as Hosato Enterprises Inc.

With one bedroom and just 808 square feet, the petite pied-à-terre features floor-to-ceiling windows. Highlights of the “Zen-quiet home” include sleek finishes and renovated closet space.

The ebony wood flooring in the living room has been renovated, and the kitchen comes with a large window.

The oversize bedroom includes a home office space along with an updated bath.

There’s a marble half-bath in the entry hallway. New owners would be allowed to add a washer and dryer, and the AC unit is new. The renovated custom closets come with new doors.

The listing notes that living in the building is akin to staying at a “5-star luxury hotel, but is truly private.” Perks include room service, a residents-only club and restaurant, and daily complimentary breakfast. The building also offers white-glove concierge service, a gym, pool, and valet parking. The condo allows pieds-à-terre and rentals, offering a new owner some options for the unit’s use.

Fans of the actor might be interested in knowing that the apartment can also come partly furnished.

The building is within walking distance to Central Park, restaurants, museums, shops, and public transit.

Takei, 82, is best known for his role as Hikaru Sulu in the original “Star Trek” TV series as well as the “Star Trek” movies. Takei was among the Japanese Americans interned during World War II, and that experience inspired the musical “Allegiance,” in which he also starred.

Over the past decade, he has been a frequent guest on Howard Stern‘s radio show. A social media influencer, Takei’s also known for his activism.
