Which ‘Sister Wives’ Stars Have Sold Their Las Vegas Homes?

The stars of “Sister Wives” have left Las Vegas for Flagstaff, AZ. But their real estate has had mixed results on the market.

The TLC reality TV show follows the exploits of Kody Brown and his four “sister wives” who live in a polygamist relationship along with their combined 18 children. While moving to another state is always stressful, multiple wives and homes to sell adds even more complexity.

Earlier in the year, we reported that the four wives (one is Brown’s legal wife, the remaining three are his spiritual wives) had placed their homes on the market. So, six months later, how have they fared?

The gated community the wives lived in had only nine lots, mountain views, and similar floor plans. The challenge then was that almost half of the lots became available around the same time—all at similar prices.

In March, Brown used some of his star power to try to boost sales, making a promotional video for an upcoming open house.

“You may have seen my family on television,” he says in the video. “I’d personally like to invite you to see our homes in the cul-de-sac.”

Here’s how the four homes currently stack up…

Janelle’s house was sold for $575,000

Janelle Brown slashed the price of her house to close the deal in April. She purchased the home in 2012 for $443,700. The six-bedroom, 4.5-bath home was initially listed for $649,000 in 2018, then reduced to $599,000 at the beginning of the year. The last price cut, to $574,900, finally did the trick.

The 4,238-square-foot home has a huge kitchen with granite counters, a master suite with spa bath, and covered patios.

Meri’s listing was pulled off the market

It looks like Meri Brown has pulled her listing from the market for now. The “contemporary architecture” offers “breathtaking” mountain views, a “spectacular” floor plan with five beds and 3.5 baths, custom features, a chef’s kitchen with upgraded appliances, plus a wet bar.

She initially listed the home for $599,000 at the beginning of the year. In March, she reduced the price to $574,900. She had bought the place in 2013 for $447,017.

Robyn’s house was sold for $603,000

Robyn Brown sold her home for $603,000 about a month after it went on the market in mid-January. It was listed for $619,900. The Browns bought the place in 2012 for $445,039, so the family saw a nice return on their investment.

Perhaps it was the outdoor space that set her five-bedroom home apart. The grounds provided entertainment for kids and adults alike, with a play area, an in-ground trampoline, planter boxes, a fire pit, and covered patios.

Christine’s house is still available for $574,990

The one home that’s still on the market is offered at a discount. Christine Brown first listed her five-bedroom residence in 2018 for $675,000. She cut the price to $649,000, and then to $639,000. In the new year she dropped it to $614,900; just this spring, it was reduced to $599,000. Last month the house was relisted for $574,990.

Of course, it didn’t help that she was competing against the other wives in the same gated community with similar homes and similar (or lower) prices.

Like the others’ homes, Christine’s floor plan features a dramatic foyer, formal living room, updated cabinetry, and a “great” backyard.

She bought the home in 2012 for $443,315, so if she gets her current list price, she will still make money on the very discounted sale.

Christine’s home is still available.
