With Jaguars’ Future in Doubt, Blake Bortles Puts His Beachfront Florida Home Up for Grabs

Life is up in the air for Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles. After a rough 2018 season, rumors have suggested that his time with the Jags is up. Now he’s put his Florida home on the market for $2 million, which only fuels the rumor mill. For now, the embattled signal caller is still on the team roster.

Don’t read anything into the real estate angle, at least according to the listing agent.

“A beach property doesn’t really lend to the kind of privacy Blake was hoping for,” says agent Justin Dalrymple. “So he’s put the house up on the market and is looking for something more private.”

The property is currently the only beachfront home available on Jacksonville Beach priced at $2 million or less, says Dalrymple.

“It’s been completely remodeled so it has these great high-end features, but it still speaks to that laid-back beach feel,” adds the agent.

The in-floor wine cellar, for instance, is a nice touch. “It’s my favorite feature of the home,” says Dalrymple. “It has space for 150 bottles of wine and is enclosed in this glass-case-like style so you can see right down the staircase to the bottom.”

A chef’s kitchen, dining room, and living space with ocean views don’t hurt either.

The home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master suite has a sitting area and en suite bathroom with soaking tub.

The home features covered space or balconies on each level, so you can enjoy water views from a distance. There’s also a private walkway to the beach.

Beachfront homes in Florida don’t come along every day, especially those that are furnished and preowned by an NFL quarterback. Have $2 million to spare? This one might be calling your name.
