Predators Goalie Pekka Rinne Selling Dashing Nashville Den for .7M
Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne is selling his home in Nashville, TN, for $1.7 million.
But Rinne isn’t leaving the swanky West Meade neighborhood behind. He recently picked up a custom home just a couple of miles away.
The estate the Finn just put on the market was built in 2011 and sits on an acre lot just minutes from the Predators’ home ice. It has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in 5,100 square feet of living space.
A pool, sun deck with hot tub, gas fire pit, and sauna were all recent additions, according to listing agent Martin Lovelace.
Rinne often hosted team gatherings at his place, which includes a spacious rec room with a bar and a keg on tap. The space is surprisingly soft and stylish when compared with other more traditionally rustic man caves.
As with the rec room, the interiors throughout the home are traditional, clean, and modern. Most rooms feature extensive built-ins, including a library with rolling ladder.
According to the Tennessean, Rinne is parting with this piece of paradise because he recently purchased a newly constructed smart home for $1.8 million.
Lovelace says Rinne loves the area but was interested in a home with a cleaner, more modern style.
Born in Finland, Rinne was drafted by the Nashville Predators in 2004 and has become one of the most recognizable faces of the franchise, leading the team to the Stanley Cup finals in 2017.
