Richard Thomas, who’s probably best known as the earnest FBI boss on “The Americans,” but whom we’ll always remember as John-Boy on “The Waltons,” has listed his New York City co-op for $3 million, according to Luxury Listings NYC.

The two-bedroom, two-bath apartment is located in the historic Alwyn Court building on the Upper West Side. Close to Central Park and Carnegie Hall, the “sophisticated” apartment measures 1,600 square feet and features an elegant foyer, grand living room with built-ins and wood-burning fireplace, formal dining room with 11-foot ceiling, and white kitchen with lacquered cabinets.

Building amenities include a 24/7 doorman and “white glove” service for residents.

The 12-story Alwyn Court was built in 1909 with a French Renaissance–style façade and central courtyard. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in the late ’70s. Thomas and his wife, Georgiana Bischoff, bought their unit in the building in 2004 for about $1.5 million.

Thomas, 66, became part of the TV zeitgeist in the 1970s when he portrayed John-Boy Walton, a young writer in a big Virginia family struggling during the Great Depression. Each episode ended with a nightly sequence of “Good nights.”

On “The Americans,” Thomas played Agent Gaad, an FBI counterintelligence supervisor who investigated KGB agents and Russian activity in America during the early 1980s.
