Golden State Warrior Steph Curry is dribbling away from his Waxhaw, NC, home. For $1.5 million, you can own the star point guard’s house.
Curry and his wife, Ayesha, bought the home for $1,275,000 in 2011 and moved in a few months before they married in Charlotte, NC. The couple and their two children now live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The basketball phenom grew up in Charlotte, near the location of the 7,650-square-foot, European-style manse. A profile of the couple described the home as “much like who they are as a couple: lovely and modest.”
It’s possible the duo had kept the retreat for vacationing in the off-season. Or maybe they held onto it for sentimental reasons. After all, the two met at a church youth group in Charlotte.
Whatever their reason for letting it go, the home is still MVP in our book.

Built in 2008, the residence has four baths, three half-baths, and four bedrooms, including an “amazing” master suite. The living room features a stacked-stone fireplace and arches, and the large kitchen includes a casual dining area.
Other amenities include a gym, home theater with LED projection, game room with wet bar and wine cellar, and four-car garage. The home is located in a gated community.
While a basketball hoop doesn’t seem to be part of the package, the next owner would certainly have bragging rights to a piece of NBA history. Curry, the son of NBA pro Dell Curry, attended Charlotte Christian High School, then played college ball for Davidson College.
The back-to-back MVP was a first-round draft pick in 2009, when he joined the Golden State Warriors. He led his team to NBA championships in 2015 and 2017, and is considered one of the greatest outside shooters in NBA history.
