This week, with much of the country suffering through record-breaking arctic chills, the web went wild for the beautiful, sun-drenched surf town of Malibu, CA. The exclusive locale on the Pacific Ocean offered up a record-setting $125 million oceanfront compound with a contemporary look and a celebrity resident. The wave of clicks on realtor.com® allowed it to surf to the top of our most popular homes list this week.
The runner-up was another looker, for different reasons. Coming to the market for the first time, the 1977 time capsule in Elysburg, PA, also drew plenty of looky-loos who took in the retro wood paneling, vaulted ceilings, and floating staircase, as well as groovy decor such as built-in furniture, retro wallpaper, and chandeliers.
