The Ring Road No.3 (Phnom Penh-Kandal) 37.15% completed
By the end of April 2020, the construction of the Ring Road No.3 linking from Phnom Penh to Kandal province has completed by 37.15%.
Mr. Heang Sotheayuth, Ministry of Public Works and Transport spokesman, told Construction & Property Magazine that by the end of April 2020, the construction of the Ring Road No.3 has completed by 37.15%.
“Although the world and Cambodia are facing the novel global pandemic, the progress of constructing this ring road is still going well,” he added.
This ring road is 52.9 kilometers long which stretches through Kandal Province for 38 kilometers and Phnom Penh for 15 kilometers, was broken ground on 14 January 2019.
This project will also include four flyovers length about 1000 meters, costing about USD$ 273 million, a loan from the People’s Republic of China.
According to H.E. Sun Chanthol, the Minister of Public Works and Transport, the project will take about 42 months to build, starting from December 2018 to December 2021. (Read More)
