After a Short Stay, Joe Jonas Selling His Modern Farmhouse in Sherman Oaks

A little over a year and a half after singer Joe Jonas bought a sprawling modern farmhouse in Sherman Oaks, CA, he’s put it back on the market.

The brand-new house is now listed for $4.25 million, but Jonas purchased it for $3.7 million in December 2016. Variety reported that his younger brother Nick Jonas crashed there for a while, before he became engaged to Priyanka Chopra.

While the Farmhouse Chic style would no doubt get a double thumbs up from domestic doyenne Joanna Gaines, perhaps it’s not quite right for Jonas’ fiancée, actress Sophie Turner. The couple was reportedly checking out luxury apartments in New York several months ago.

Most of us would swoon over the sparkling four-bedroom, six-bath home, which is now known as “Sutton House,” undoubtably because it’s located on Sutton Street. The street is one of the finest lanes in this increasingly chic neighborhood south of Ventura Boulevard, from which you can zoom over to Beverly Hills or Hollywood in less than 20 minutes, while avoiding heavy traffic.

The 5,600-square-foot house sits on a quarter-acre lot, which is extra wide in this neighborhood. The house features the finest accoutrements, including Calacatta marble slabs, Waterworks fixtures, and Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances in an open kitchen with an adjacent sunny breakfast nook and butler’s pantry.

The massive master suite, with its fireplace, gabled ceiling, French doors, balcony, and his-and-hers walk-in closets, is certainly fit for an A-lister.

And the royal-blue powder room would surely charm most buyers.

When it comes to entertaining, the house is the epitome of comfortable, casual chic. Indoors, there’s a living room big enough for a grand piano and a plush screening room.

Outdoors, there’s a built-in barbecue area and a heated pool with a waterfall, all flanked by lush green lawns. There’s also a pool/guesthouse with a bathroom and a shower.

Jonas, 29, was a Disney Channel superstar, and performed pop hits with his siblings, who recorded together as the Jonas Brothers. He’s guest-judged and mentored on musical competition shows including “The Voice” and “American Idol.” He recently became a coach on the Australian version of “The Voice,” and fronts the pop band DNCE.
