We know Tyra Banks as an acclaimed supermodel. And also as the smiling face behind “America’s Next Top Model,” current host of “America’s Got Talent,” and even as a Stanford professor. But the multitalented Los Angeles native has yet another skill up her highly fashionable sleeve: She’s an A-list real estate wheeler-dealer.

For years now, the 44-year-old diva has made headlines for her high-profile housing transactions. She seems to have taken a particular shine to the area of Los Angeles known as Pacific Palisades, where she’s owned at least four properties.

We went on a head-spinning tour of Banks’ real estate deals. Strut down the runway with us…

Pacific Palisades

Let’s rewind to 2014, when the former daytime talk-show queen picked up her first Palisades home. Purchased for $3.3 million, the contemporary four-bedroom abode was touted as turnkey.

It’s a gorgeous place with wide-plank floors, an open kitchen with quartz counters, a living space with disappearing glass doors that open to a garden, and a master suite with fireplace and terrace. Banks recently placed the home on the market for $4.25 million.

A second Banks-connected home was at the center of another recent Palisades deal. She purchased a place designed by architect Douglas Breidenbach in 2016 in an off-market deal for $7.35 million.

The charcoal-hued five-bedroom home offers ocean, coastal, and mountain views. Demonstrating her fierce real estate know-how, the extensively renovated 6,000-square-foot home just sold for a whopping $8.9 million.

In 2017, she purchased a modest Mediterranean-style town home in the Palisades for $1.35 million. The former model got to work and extensively renovated the home. After transforming the place and giving it an open, loft-style feel, she recently accepted $1.47 million for the two-bedroom flip.

Banks then rocked the real estate world again this spring, splashing out $7 million for yet another property in Pacific Palisades. Built in 2014, the 6,100-square-foot spread is designed to take in ocean views. There are balconies on every level, in addition to a roof deck. Inside, a double-sided fireplace separates the living space from the chef’s kitchen. A glass wall creates a seamless flow and opens out to the pool and backyard. Perhaps this home will be deemed fierce enough to remain in Banks’ portfolio.

Beverly Hills

Banks had the cash to splurge in the Palisades market thanks to a sweet return on investment from a long-held Beverly Hills home. She purchased ’20s-era Spanish colonial in 2004 for $3.1 million and proceeded to give the place a reported $2 million makeover. The kitchen was updated, an outdoor living space was created, and the garage was partially converted into a gym.

After spending over a decade in the deluxe 90210 digs, she placed the home on the market in 2015 for $7.75 million. With no takers, she slashed the price and eventually let the home go for $6.33 million in 2016, which still put plenty of money in her pocket.

Sonoma, CA

Banks’ real estate adventures weren’t confined to Southern California. According to Variety, Banks owned a 2,447-square-foot farmhouse-style residence in the wine region of Sonoma, CA. Her foray in Northern California was short-lived, though—she bought the home in 2015 for $2.185 million and sold it in 2017 for $2.6 million.

New York, New York

New York, New York, it’s a wonderful town … for real estate deals. In 2015, Banks made a splash in the Big Apple when she sold a two-bedroom condo in SoHo for $4.25 million.

But that sale was just the opening act. In April 2017, she listed a mansion-sized duplex for an eye-watering $17.5 million. Located in Battery Park City, the two-floor, 7,000-square foot spread is comprised of four adjoining units.

She purchased the posh NYC place in 2009 for $10.1 million and then reportedly poured millions into a remodel.

The building is also home to such celebs as Leonardo DiCaprio and Uma Thurman, and Banks’ five-bedroom, eight-bathroom residence offers high-end amenities including a hair salon, gym, 360-degree mirrored dressing room, staff quarters, and insane views of the Hudson River.
