Wow ! so fast like airplane at the sky. It’s time to replace airplanes with these. Faster, way less environmental pollution, safer and more comfortable. Why is it not happening? Oh wait, the airplane business is way too profitable, thus, they don’t have any reason to invest in it. Capitalism is holding us back with WORLDS FASTEST TRAINS – MAGLEV “capable” of 3,500 km/h.

+John Strutz it can be proven mathematically. With zero friction and no air resistance, can the maglev pump enough energy into the system to push that mass that fast… Is it possible? Sure.
I have a question. What about the risk factors? The train is hovering, but if that fails in case of losing electricity, how are they going to stop the train from crashing down onto the tracks in a hazardous way?

+Elaini In theory, if the levitation fails then the train should just run along the tracks, with friction slowing it down. It wouldn’t fall off or anything, but it could be rough.

…I wouldn’t go that far; but if you have ever considered yourself to have any engineering aptitude or mathematical talent then you would have considered the applications of magnetic levitation before the age of 16.
