E! Network’s Jason Kennedy Hopes to Host a .4M Home Sale in Studio City

E! Network is known for its nonstop coverage of celebrities. Its on-air talent also manages to make the news from time to time. In that vein, popular “E! News” host Jason Kennedy is selling his Studio City, CA, home for $2.4 million

The five-bedroom, four-bathroom contemporary home, built in 1964, was recently renovated. It’s located just minutes from Comcast’s Universal Studios complex, where the show is produced daily.

Even if you don’t have a gig on the Universal lot, the home’s location is worthy of a close-up. It’s located south of Ventura Boulevard, close to shopping and dining options, and in the Carpenter School District—rated one of the best in Los Angeles County.

Kennedy purchased the house for $900,000 in 2014, then remodeled it completely. It measures 3,202 square feet and offers the luxe finishes and amenities today’s buyers want. They include sliding barn doors in the dining room, wide-plank wood flooring throughout, and a modern farm-style kitchen with stone countertops, open shelving, stainless-steel appliances, and a wine fridge. There’s also a home theater for cozy nights in.

The plush master suite—which Kennedy shares with his wife, fashion journalist, blogger, and author Lauren Scruggs—features dual walk-in closets, and a large bath with a spa tub.

The terraced backyard includes a grassy lawn, covered patio, and fire pit. The landscaping is designed to be eco-friendly, with brilliant succulents growing all over the large lot.

Kennedy, 37, has anchored “E! News” since 2015, and contributes to NBC’s “Today Show.” Previously, he anchored the TV Guide Channel’s “Open Call,” hosted an ABC prime-time show called “Dance Machine, ” and hosted “The Daily 10” show on E!.
