Claudio Reyna, a retired soccer player and former captain of the U.S. men’s national team, is looking to score a sale of his beautiful Bedford Corners, NY, home.

He’s selling his Colonial in the upscale suburban enclave in Westchester County for $2.1 million. Property records indicate Reyna purchased the home on a 5-acre parcel for $2.4 million in 2007.

Built in 2006, the 5,187-square-foot home has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The hamlet of Bedford Corners is close to three public transit stops, and the commute is under an hour to Manhattan.

Inside, you’ll find a new chef’s kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, Silestone quartz countertops, and a large island. The kitchen looks out to a casual eating area with glass doors opening to a covered outdoor dining area. It sits adjacent to a family room with a stone fireplace and a back staircase.

Formal spaces include a living room with fireplace, and a dining room, which opens to the patio. A screened-in porch can be accessed through the library.

The large master suite includes two dressing rooms and a just-completed master bath with a dual-sink vanity, luxe shower, and soaking tub.

All family bedrooms include private baths. The second floor also includes a bonus room and laundry.

The flat backyard is perfect for kicking around a soccer ball. The space also features an outdoor dining and entertaining area, including a fire pit.

Reyna, 45, played professionally for nearly two decades in Germany, England, and the U.S. The midfielder wrapped up his career with a two-year stint with the New York Red Bulls of the MLS, where he also served as team captain. He captained the U.S. men’s team at the World Cup in 2006 and appeared in over 100 matches for the national team. He currently serves as the director of football operations for New York City FC.
