‘Chrisley Knows Best’ Star Julie Chrisley Flipping Fancy Mansion for .75M

When it comes to real estate, perhaps Chrisley does know best.

Julie Chrisley, star of the reality show “Chrisley Knows Best,” is quickly flipping a property she recently purchased in Brentwood, TN. It’s now on the market for $4.75 million, but Chrisley bought the place a couple of months ago for $3.375 million.

Chrisley and her husband, Todd Chrisley, are the stars of the popular USA Network reality show, which tracks the life of their family. The family moved from Atlanta to Nashville in 2016 and purchased a $1.6 million home in Music City’s Belle Meade neighborhood.

Then it looked as if the family was going all out in April, buying a huge house located about 10 miles from their current digs.

But rather than move in, the Chrisleys got to work. They renovated an already swell-looking space into a high-end luxury property. 

Once the work was done, they placed the home on the market with a much steeper price tag. If the sale goes through at ask, Chrisley could make over a million bucks for two months’ work.

The exact profit margin depends on how much money they poured into the work. And according to the listing agent, the Chrisleys didn’t skimp in their flip.

“The home was very dated, they took it down to the studs,” says Nic Kerdiles, an agent with Zeitlin Sothebys International Realty. “They put in high-end finishes and really customized the home.” 

Measuring in at 12,753 square feet, the “completely renovated” 2013 build features an “exquisite” formal dining room with custom, hand-painted wallpaper.

There’s also a professional chef’s kitchen with two Sub-Zero refrigerators and freezers, white stone counters and backsplash, and an adjacent family room and casual eating area. 

With six bedrooms and 6.5 baths, the layout also includes such amenities as two laundry rooms and cedar closets, a catering kitchen, plus an indoor sports court.

Encompassing more than an acre of land, the property boasts a covered outdoor patio with a fireplace and barbecue station, as well as a pool and spa.

Other perks include a rec room, a wine cellar, and a wood-paneled office with decorative ceilings.

“Chrisley Knows Best” is currently in its seventh season, filming in Nashville. A spin-off series about the couple’s children, Chase and Savannah, called “Growing Up Chrisley,” also airs on the USA Network.
