Land Encroachers Along SR River Ordered to Demolish Constructions Within 7 Days
The Siem Reap Provincial Administration has ordered all land encroachers to demolish constructions alongside the Siem Reap River within 7 days, or before 9 November, otherwise, they will face legal action.
The demolition order is to allow the working team to begin implementing the second phase of the Siem Reap River Rehabilitation Project (KHM-18), starting from the SR detour bridge to Aranh village.
According to the announcement, this order is already the second one and is made after the provincial administration still found that a small number of residents have yet to demolish their constructions despite the first order.
After seven days, the Siem Reap provincial authorities will demolish all buildings without any responsibility for damage.
