Have you been keeping up with the Chrisleys? Todd and Julie Chrisley, stars of USA Network’s “Chrisley Knows Best,” recently snapped up a swanky home in Brentwood, TN, for $3,375,000. Local real estate records show the new owner is Julie M. Chrisley, and the purchase occurred in early April.

The couple have become reality TV darlings thanks to their popular series, which has run for six seasons and over 100 episodes. The Southern family of five moved from Atlanta to Nashville, where they purchased a home for $1.6 million in 2016. That home in the city’s Belle Meade neighborhood has been featured on the show.

Now, the Chrisleys have upgraded to an even larger space in an even more upscale area about 10 miles away. Their new home is 11,000 square feet and has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

Built in 2013, the “exquisite home” opens with a grand, curved staircase, which leads to the formal living room with a fireplace. An open kitchen with bar seating looks out to a casual dining area and a family room.

In addition to the master suite, there’s also a guest suite and a second master bedroom on the second floor. Amenities include a sport court and rec room, a wine cellar, four-car garage, pool, and enclosed patio.

Naturally, the purchase came with a celeb tie-in. Chrisley bought the property from former hockey player Mike Ribeiro. Now retired, Ribeiro’s final stop in the NHL was a three-season stint with the Nashville Predators.

The Chrisley family is also deepening its roots by announcing that Julie plans to open a Southern food restaurant in downtown Nashville.

Although they left Atlanta in their rear view, the couple were unable to leave their financial troubles behind.

Todd is described by the show as a “real estate mogul,” but the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that he may not have paid state taxes as a Georgia resident. He denied the report, telling the paper, “I’ve been a Florida resident over 15 years. So my taxes are have always been filed. And if I don’t make money in Georgia, I don’t pay taxes on it in Georgia.”

Julie also faced legal issues of her own. In 2016, a Nashville sheriff reportedly served an order to seize jewelry and clothing from her home on a $20,802.87 judgment that the reality TV star had refused to pay. However, when the authorities arrived at her home, she produced a check for the amount owed.

Despite the chatter of financial woes, the couple weren’t stopped from snapping up a pricey new property.

Along with a bigger, better home, they’ve added a spinoff show, “Growing Up Chrisley,” about brother and sister Chase and Savannah Chrisley as they start their own lives in Los Angeles.
