No Razzies Here! Pia Zadora Selling Luxe Las Vegas Home for .2M
Nominated as the worst actress of the 1980s by the Razzies, Pia Zadora has endured her share of criticism. However, over 30 years later, we can find nothing to criticize with the Las Vegas mansion she’s now selling for $3.25 million.
Built in 2009, the lovely, upscale contemporary home features five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms spread over more than 4,700 square feet. The upscale residence is located in the master-planned Summerlin community.
Now doing a weekly show in Vegas at a local restaurant, Zadora married her third husband, Michael Jeffries, a detective with the Las Vegas Police Department, in 2005. She’s lived in the area ever since.
The serene desert home has seen a touch of Hollywood drama, despite the Nevada address. According to TMZ, a SWAT team was called to the house in 2013, after Zadora allegedly choked her teenage son during an argument over his bedtime.
The actress also made real estate headlines in Los Angeles a few decades ago in her heyday, when she was a tabloid darling.
During her previous marriage to businessman and movie producer Meshulam Riklis, Zadora infamously demolished Pickfair—an iconic mansion built atop Beverly Hills, CA, by silent movie stars Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford.
The reason she tore down the historic residence? She thought it was haunted. In its place, the couple constructed a Venetian palazzo-style mansion. About one hundred years younger than Pickfair, her modern Las Vegas property is sure to make a gorgeous home for some lucky buyer. No ghosts or spirits anywhere in sight.
