NBA All-Star Chris Paul is dribbling away from his Houston, TX, home. After being traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder last month, the former Houston Rockets point guard has listed his posh property for $8.3 million.

He didn’t own this massive mansion for very long—the residence last changed hands in April 2018. Although the price Paul paid is undisclosed, the home was on the market for $6.9 million.

The property is described as “picturesque modernism partnered with Old World Mediterranean,” and its layout features five bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and 10,000 square feet. Built in 2013, the Lauren Rottet-designed home offers details such as Texas limestone, 200-year-old farmhouse oak beams, and clay roof tiles imported from France.

Set on three-quarters of an acre, the property opens to a courtyard and koi pond. The interiors are accented with steel-framed windows, bathing the rooms in natural light.

A double-sided fireplace connects the living room and dining room, which also includes a 750-bottle wine case. The family room adjoins the breakfast room, which opens outside. And the upscale kitchen features stainless-steel countertops, Miele appliances, a concealed Sub-Zero refrigerator, and a huge marble island.

Plus, the four ensuite bedrooms all offer a private terrace. Luxury amenities include a library, study, game room, and a home theatre.

Out back, there’s a limestone-edge pool, fire pit, and poolhouse, along with an outdoor barbecue and dining area.

Paul has played the real estate game before. As a Los Angeles Clipper, he sold a mansion in Bel Air for a reduced $8.7 million in 2017. He had first placed it on the market for $11.5 million in 2016. Singer Avril Lavigne had sold him the sprawling estate in 2012.

Then, in 2017, Paul offered up his Woodland Hills home for $2.2 million, which is now off market. He purchased the brand-new digs in 2014 for $1.775 million. The perennial All-Star also has owned a Calabasas pad, which he snapped up in 2017 for $9 million.

Paul, 34, began his career with the New Orleans Hornets. He played for the Los Angeles Clippers from 2011 to 2017, when he was traded to the Houston Rockets. He played with the team until the recent trade to the Thunder.
