Now eliminated from the NBA playoffs, Philadelphia 76ers center Greg Monroe is shooting to sell his supersized home in New Orleans.

Built in 2002, the traditional-style residence is on the market for $874,500. The nine-season NBA veteran paid $837,000 for the place in 2013.

Located in the southeastern neighborhood of English Turn, the home sits close to the country club and overlooks the golf course.

“Not only does this home have some of the best views in English Turn, its features are timeless, palatial, and airy. It’s perfect for entertaining as well as a burgeoning family of any size,” says listing agent Monique Davis of Windfeel Properties.

Along with its location on the links, the two-story, 5,478-square-foot abode offers views of the Big Easy skyline to the north. It appears as if the five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom home is a true score. Let’s take a closer look.

Enter through the foyer with floor-to-ceiling windows. The soaring interior heights are perfect for someone with a 6-foot-11 frame. The main level offers a raised study with wood floors. And the open living area features a kitchen with island, wet bar, and butler’s pantry.

The first-floor master suite includes two walk-in closets. Additional bedrooms with walk-in closets are located on the second floor, including an in-law suite. There’s a game room complete with a superhero mural on the wall. In addition, the property features a balcony, three-car garage, and “lavish” landscaping.

The New Orleans native hasn’t had a ton of time to spend in Louisiana of late. After spending five seasons with the Detroit Pistons, the 28-year-old has bounced around the NBA, playing for the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and Phoenix Suns.
