Reggaeton Superstar Nicky Jam Buys Posh Pad in Miami Beach for .4M
Reggaeton superstar Nick Rivera Caminero, better known as Nicky Jam, has decided to “live it up” in a posh new pad in Miami Beach, FL.
The Latin Grammy–winning artist paid $3.4 million for the custom home created by Sabal Development. Completed in 2016, the property was last on the market for $3.65 million, according to property records.
Located in the gated community of Palm Island, the home was “designed with tranquility and privacy in mind,” according to press materials.
With 3,617 square feet, five bedrooms, and five baths, the modern home embraces indoor-outdoor living. The living room features a full wall of impact-resistant glass doors. The chef’s kitchen is equipped with Miele appliances, a granite island, and bar seating. Wide-plank bamboo flooring runs throughout the home, and Italian marble tiling is featured in the bathrooms.
The three bedrooms upstairs each come with a walk-in closet. The master suite has a private terrace overlooking the infinity pool out back. There’s also an office and a two-car garage.
The home comes with private access to Palm Island Park, which offers tennis and basketball courts, 24/7 community police, and gated security.
Caminero was born in Boston, but his family moved to Puerto Rico when he was 10. He’s known for hits such as “Te Busco” and “Travesuras”—which has been viewed nearly a billion times on YouTube.
In 2015, he received a Latin Grammy for best urban performance. In 2018, he performed “Live It Up” for the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in Moscow, with Will Smith and Kosovar singer Era Istrefi.
The home was listed with Mathieu Rochette of Compass Florida.
