Take a Peek at the Corpus Christi Childhood Home of Farrah Fawcett

A lovely little house in Corpus Christi, TX, that was once the childhood home of Farrah Fawcett has landed on the market for $129,500.

The petite home on Rosedale Drive is one of four houses the Fawcett family lived in during their time in Corpus Christi, before moving to Houston. The late actress’ mother, Pauline, was a homemaker, and her father, James, worked as an oil field contractor.

There was another home in the Corpus Christi area where the Fawcett family lived from 1962 to 1966, which was on the market in 2012 for $215,000. According to Texas Monthly, this ranch-style home was where Fawcett lived while she attended nearby Ray High School.

The family home currently up for sale in the coastal Texas town offers no hint that a future bombshell once lived there. The three-bedroom, one-bathroom home was built in 1953 and measures just 997 square feet.

There’s also an attached apartment with its own bathroom and patio. Priced at $130 per square foot, the home is right in line with the city’s median list price of $124 per square foot.

Fawcett stayed in Texas and attended the University of Texas in Austin. After making her way to Hollywood, she eventually landed a spot on the cast of “Charlie’s Angels” in 1976, making her a household name. Around the same time, a poster of Fawcett in a red one-piece bathing suit became an iconic fixture on the bedroom walls of teenage boys everywhere throughout the late ’70s.

Now we can take a look inside the childhood home of the actress who possessed a feathered hairstyle that’s instantly recognizable even today. Fawcett died of cancer in 2009. She was  62.
